  • Vitamins C,
  • Vitamin K

Raw zucchini offers less vitamin A but more vitamin C.

The trick is to use the leaves from young plants as the older plants’ leaves are more bitter.

You can boil the leaves or feed them raw with other types of vegetables.

The same goes for the zucchini flowers; your pigs can definitely eat them. It will be up to them if they acquire a taste for it or not. But I recommend the flowers and leaves from the younger plants as they can be tastier for pigs.

If your pigs don’t like it, feed them a few more times to see if they acquire the taste for the zucchini flower; mixing it up with some they like can help.

Yes, pigs love to eat zucchini; this is a delicious fruit that can be fed throughout the year but are especially good during the hot summer months; your pigs will really appreciate this refreshing treat. It can also be fed with other types of fruits and vegetables.

Pigs can also eat all parts of the zucchini plants, including the flower and leaves.

But make sure to only use the zucchini as a treat; remember that pigs need to have a balanced diet, and as many vitamins and nutrients the zucchini fruit may have, it will never be enough to support the high amount of calories and protein a pig needs in order to grow healthy.

So keep the pigs feed as their primary source of nutrients and the rest of the foods used as a treat.

Also, follow your vet’s recommendation if you have a special pig that requires a special diet.

You’ll be surprised at the amount of growth a pig can achieve by just eating the pigs feed or corn diet.

Pigs feed is specially made to provide all the necessary nutrients and calories a pig needs. This is why I always recommend it as the primary source of nutrients.

Many pigs suffer from a lack of health, and the main reason is they are fed random foods with no purpose.

If you are looking to have heavy healthy pigs please follow your vet’s diets and recommendations.
